The proceedings of the 15th International Colloquium on Soil Zoology
(ICSZ15) and 12TH International Colloquium on Apterygota will be published as a special issue of the Brazilian Journal of Agricultural Research (PAB), with the title: "Biodiversity, Conservation and Sustainable Management of Soil Animals."

PAB is an international journal published by Embrapa, the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (the equivalent of the USDA-ARS), devoted to the publication of original and unedited scientific works,
resulting from research on subjects related to agriculture and forestry, such as Plant Physiology, Pathology, Genetics, Soil Science, Food Technology and Animal Science. More information on PAB can be obtained from their web-site at: http://www.sct.embrapa.br/pab/uspab.asp.

PAB is indexed by ISI (Web of Science and Current Contents: Agriculture, Biology & Environmental Science), Scopus, CAB Abstracts, AGRIS and SciELO. PAB edits and publishes scientific and technical Articles in Portuguese, Spanish and English, as well as Scientific Notes. The journal content is made freely available on the internet by the SciELO.

The impact factor of the journal is 0.36 (on 3-yr basis, 2006).

Instructions for authors

To be able to submit a manuscript for the proceedings you must first register as an author by visiting the site at http://seer.sct.embrapa.br/index.php/pab/user/register, choose English language, and filling out the required information. Please remember to click the box ****Author** at the end, so that you can submit a manuscript.

The registration process will allow you to follow all steps of the editorial process of your manuscript.

Once registered, you must submit your manuscript by logging in at the secure web-site: https://seer.sct.embrapa.br/index.php/pab/login.

Once logged in, click on the link for Author.

This will begin a five-step process that must be followed to submit your manuscript:

Step 1 -- Initiate submission. (acceptance of copywrite transfers, choice the ICSZ15 section of the journal for submission, etc.)

Step 2 -- Inclusion of data (author and co-author data to be included, titles and abstract, keywords, type of manuscript, language, etc.)

Step 3 -- Transmission of the manuscript (sending the manuscript document and instructions on peer-review).

Step 4 -- Transfer of additional files (optional for other files associated with your manuscript).

Step 5 -- Confirmation of submission. Once submitted, the manuscript cannot be altered.

At any point in time, the submission process can be stopped, and then re-started by accessing the web-site and looking for their submission under "Incompletes", in the list of active submissions.
