CURITIBA CITY TOUR
Itinerary: Botanical Garden – Pope State Park – Opera de Arame Theater – Free University of the Environment (Universidade Livre do Meio Ambiente).
The tour of the Ecological Capital of Brazil, Curitiba lasts approximately 3.5 hours and includes a visit to the Botanic Garden, the Pope State Park, the Opera house, and the Free University. The bus tour will drive past the Iguaçu (State Government) Palace, the Civic Center, the Perpétuo Socorro Church, the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Federal University of Paraná, and the Guaíra Theater

CURITIBA BY NIGHT
Itinerary: Botanical Gardens – Opera de Arame Theater
A short tour around some interesting tourist points, with a beautiful night’s view of some of the main landmarks of the city, followed by gastronomic visit to the suburb of Santa felicidade, where a typical Italian dinner (chicken, spaghetti, lasagna and a delicious vine) will be served at one of the famous restaurants.

MORRETES AND ANTONINA
Itinerary: Curitiba – Morretes – Antonina – Curitiba
Train tour to Morretes, traveling on an engineering masterwork of the nineteen century. Over 110 Km of Railways, including 13 tunnels and 30 bridges, arriving in Morretes at 10:40 AM. This city, established in 1733, still maintains several of its old colonial buildings. We disembark and continue the trip by bus to the port of Antonina established in 1714. After a brief visit of the town, the bus returns to Morretes for lunch, at 12:30. After lunch, a brief tour of the town of Morretes (until 14:00) and then the return to Curitiba climbing up the Graciosa highway, arriving around 16:00. Included: train ticket and snack, lunch in Morretes, tours in Morretes and Antonina, van transportation up the Graciosa highway.

VILA VELHA STATE PARK
Itinerary: Curitiba – Vila Velha State Park – Furnas – Golden Lagoon – Curitiba
Bus or van ride on the Rodovia do Café Road, up the Devonian Escarpment to the Campos Gerais Region (Plateau), with beautiful views along the way. After 80 km, arriving at Vila Velha State Park, where we will find multi-shaped sandstone figures (camel, cup, rhinoceros, ships, turtles, etc.), aged at approximately 400 million years. The second stop is the sinkhole (Furnas), and enormous round crater about 50m deep (to the water level). The third stop is a visit to the crystal clear Golden Water Lagoon.

ILHA DO MEL
Itinerary: Curitiba – Morretes – Pontal do Sul – Ilha do Mel – Curitiba
Trip to Morretes by bus or by train, with beautiful views of Serra do Mar (Coastal Mountain range) and the Atlantic Rainforest. Arrival in Morretes (historical city of Paraná) where we will take a brief walk around the city. Lunch includes a typical dish of the coastal region “Barreado”, with meat, fish and shrimp. After lunch, departure to Pontal do Sul to take across to the Ilha do Mel (Honey Island), and a short walk around the island.
Included: Bus or train ticket, boat transfer, lunch and agency car transfer.

ITAJAÍ VALLEY
Itinerary: Curitiba – Joinville – Itajaí – Balneário Camboriú – Blumenau – Curitiba
All day long tour. Visit to Joinville city (German immigration), Immigrant Museum and local knitted/cotton/clothing goods shops. Second stop at the city of Itajaí and then on to the Balneário Camboriú beach, an internationally famous resort town. Next, a visit to Blumenau, another German-immigration pole with its decorated houses and restaurants. Return at 21:00
Optional: 2 days, with a night in hotel.

GUARTELÁ CANYON
Itinerary: Curitiba – Guartelá Canyon – Curitiba
Tour of the Guartela Canyon with a specialized eco-tour guide; arrival at the canyon at 10:30 am (expected time).
Hiking though the State Park of Guartelá, with visits of the lookout and a beautiful view of the canyon.
Next, a visit to the Ponte de Pedra waterfall (54.8ft.), a natural stone bridge, and the natural water pools and baths (bathing permitted, but water very cold).
Stop for a snack around noon.
In the afternoon, hiking visit to archeological sites with rupestrian drawings.
Arrival in Curitiba around 19:30.

GUARAQUEÇABA AND SUPERAGUI
Itinerary: Curitiba – Paranaguá – Guaraqueçaba – Superagui National Park – Paranaguá – Curitiba
Trip to Paranaguá by bus or van and then board a schooner on the Itiberê River, passing by Cotinga Island, D. Pedro II Harbor, and the Paranaguá port. During the trip to Guaqueçaba, the boat will pass by the Ilha do Mel, arriving at 13:00. A sea food lunch will be served on the way. In the afternoon, the tour will visit Superagui National Park, where a walk and a swim on an uninhabited beach will be possible. Return to Paranaguá on the schooner, then, back to Curitiba, with arrival around 21:00 h.

HISTORICAL LAPA
Itinerary: Curitiba – Lapa – Curitiba
Trip to the city of Lapa, established around 1731, by the Mata Road, a historical route between the cities of Sorocaba (São Paulo) and Viamão (Rio Grande do Sul). Visit to the Gruta do Monge, Igreja Matriz de Santo Antônio (church), Santuário São Benedito (sanctuary), Casa da Câmara e Cadeira, Casa da Cultura (House of Culture), Museu das Armas (Arms Museum), Casa Vermelha, Panteon dos Heróis (Cemetary), Teatro São João (theater) and the Monumento ao Tropeiro (Monument). Lunch is included. Arrival in Curitiba at 16:00 h.
Departures at 8h30 am.

Important: Please note that only one change without penalty is possible on the terrestrial routes of each tour. A second change will incur in an administration fee of R$ 20 (twenty reais) to be paid to AGATUR. |
